Where to Watch 4th of July Fireworks in Jacksonville — 2025 Guide for Active Adults
If you’re looking for a great way to celebrate the Fourth of July without fighting a massive crowd or driving across town, good news — Northeast Florida has options for every kind of celebrator this year.
Here’s a quick rundown of what’s happening Friday, July 4th:
Downtown Jacksonville — This one is a big deal. America’s 250th anniversary means the largest fireworks display in Jacksonville’s history. Festivities run 4–9pm, with fireworks launching at 9pm. Plan for crowds, but it promises to be worth it.
Jacksonville Beach — All-day festivities with fireworks at 9pm. The beach vibe is relaxed and festive — grab your bike or stake out a spot early and enjoy the day.
St. Augustine — Fireworks over the Matanzas River with a waterfront block party. Festivities begin at 6pm, fireworks at 9pm. Honestly one of the most beautiful backdrops in all of Northeast Florida.
Orange Park — Food trucks, lawn chairs, and a neighborhood feel. Festivities start at 6pm with fireworks at 9pm. Low-key and lovely.
Whether you’re a longtime Jacksonville local or you’ve recently made the move to one of our 55+ communities, this area truly shines on holidays like this. It’s one of the things I love most about calling Northeast Florida home.
Wishing you a safe, happy, and sparkle-filled Fourth! 🇺🇸
